Welcome to AAxL: Asian American x Latinx studies! For too long the cultural convergences and political intersections of these ethnic overlaps have been overlooked. These populations continue to grow linked together through migratory, laborious, and agricultural histories from the nineteenth century. As interlocking pasts yield synchronicities between them, scholars, activists, political leaders, and students are being called in new ways. AAxL answers this call by providing a web portal highlighting cross-pollinations in art and recovery, literary criticism, and civic leadership. The resources, archives, publications, and teaching tools found here will prepare users for a diversifying 21st century America.
